Limes: lies and propaganda in favor of Ayatollah

This article is an excerpt from a broader and more detailed contribution to be published on the next volume of Limes (on sale from July 7) and we anticipate that in view of the important events going on these days . The full article is accompanied by numerous explanatory notes, which are fundamental to understand a world so complex and unfamiliar to most people.

Abstract

In Iran, and more generally in Shiism and Islam, there is no clergy. In the Muslim culture and civilization, power and power relations are constituted in a horizontal, not vertical. The space, physical and cultural, is built on principles and practice of "closeness" and "distance" from the center, and between an "outside" and an "inside". Iran is the oldest state in the Middle East, and the only independent country in the region. Iran is to be considered, without a doubt, the most advanced democracy in the Middle East. This democracy is a shared heritage Iranians. If things were not in these terms, we would not have elections, they would not have attended the vast majority of Iranian people, there would be no prosecution of fraud, there would be ferocious personal attacks between the candidates, not there would be winners and losers officers, the police would not have arrested more than a hundred representatives of political reformers and the names of these representatives would not be well known to the police so that the Iranians, some of these reforms would not, therefore, issued the day after their arrest, there are strong differences between the groups vie for power, and the future of the country, they would not move from television to the streets of Tehran, Tabriz, Rasht, Shiraz, to protest there would be girls between eighteen and thirty years, and university students: the numerical majority of the population of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This could be the first revolution made possible by the Internet and those social networks, which, among other things, restrict the power of the press and journalists. Reading this article I would say fortunately. I think it's really worth an article by Walter Waranty (NYT Pulitzer Prize in 1932, with an apology for Stalinist regime). Honestly, is so blatantly filoregime to seem embarrassing.
I underscore the two completely unfounded assertion that constitute the essence of the article.
First, in Iran there is no clergy and hierarchy. Sorry, but Khomeini was an atheist and had the same power of a fruit, or was the leader of the country's supreme leader Ayatollah (ditto for Kamenhei, time)? The second, "no doubt the` Iran and the most advanced democracy of the MO.
I did not know that in a democracy simpiccano gay people for their attitudes sessuali.Non I knew that in a democracy, the religious leaders who choose to accept election, it will stop those who lose elections, they shoot at civilians occur.
Limes I think, `if you will approve at the next elections to become the future leader of maximo left lose`, `will be imprisoned and released after only twenty-four hours.
course, also Limes, `if you entusiamera candidates in future elections in Italy will be divided chosen by the CEI and Israel, for example, by the rabbis
Italian journalist left gave the` heir of Walter Duranty .
